MICROGRAPH COMPETITION GUIDELINES

Registration Deadline: 15 November 2025

Submission Rules:

Eligibility

• Contestants must be registered conference attendees.

Image Requirements

• Submit a single micrograph taken using SEM, TEM, or other microscopy instruments.
• Image must not be significantly altered.
• A maximum of two (2) micrographs per participant is allowed.

Formatting Guidelines

• Place the micrograph on the provided template along with the required information. Template size:
A4.
• Include a scale bar in the micrograph.
• No coloured backgrounds for the micrograph are allowed; only a white background is permitted.
• Do not include any identifying information about the owner on the micrograph itself.

Title & Description

• A creative title for the micrograph is highly recommended.
• Provide a description of the micrograph in fewer than 25 words.

Important Notes

• If you want the conference secretariat to print your micrograph(s):
1. Tick “Yes” under Required Printing Service in the Google Form.
2. Upload your PDF or PPTX file in the form.
3. Submission Deadline: 15 November 2025

• If you prefer to print and bring your own micrographs (optional):
1. Tick “No” under Required Printing Service.
2. Uploading a file is optional, but still available.

During the Conference

• Collect your printed micrograph(s) at the registration desk.
• You’ll be asked to paste your work on the designated display area.

We encourage you to take part in this exciting opportunity to display your work in a creative and
visual format.
